It features a duel between Hara & Rheinard in Leg 3 of A Main Finals in 2008 IFMAR World Championships at RCS, Bangkok.

No doubt, this is definitely the Greatest RC Touring Car Race ever recorded & posted online.
So far, it has received more than 2.5 million views on youtube, & still counting.

Let's see if tomorrow 2012 IFMAR World Championships At MACH track, Heemstede, the Netherlands , will produce another classic like this. 

Body - FF

Saw this when I was in RC City last week.
A very nicely done FF body by a local guy (can't remember his name).
It is a body by Tamiya (part #: 51421 Honda Civic).
1 of the most popular FF body being used for race. 
Comments from users: fast & sensitive steering (i.e. agile) but not easy to control.

ESC... ORCA VX - Unpacking

Bought a new esc - ORCA VX
1st very impressive feature is its new size.
It is available in 3 colours - orange, blue & titanium.

This is an updated batch.
1st batch or previous batch came with pre-soldered wires with no soldering tabs.
The latest batch comes with soldering tabs for easy change of wires.
Good thing comes to those who wait.... Luckily, I did not rush to buy it when it was launched.

Did a new body for my S411 FF. 

It is a Volkswagen Scirocco (Tamiya 51473)
This one seems to be the hottest body for FF car at this moment. 
Everyone has been telling me this is the best body for FF & I should get 1. 
Well, mine is done now & will see how good it is later.

No doubt I like this kit a lot... but I think I have enough cars for now.
Let just concentrate on touring car.
I am doing a favor for a friend. Hopefully, he is kind enough to let me try it later. 

ORCA BL C'ship Series 2012 Thailand R3 - Race Day

Arrrghhh... as predicted, in open class, qualified at 16th out of 22 cars.
In three B main finals, 1stly finished at P5, then P10, next P9 (well, DNF in last 2 finals due to car issue).
Overall, finished at P8 in B main.
What about FF class??? Forget about it k.

The AE team
Vut TQ in open class, finished at P1 in all 3 finals.
Kong started at A10, finished at P3 overall after 3 finals.
Bob at A3, finished at P4 overall.
Joey at B4, finished at P2 overall.
Unofficially, Nat is a member now. After mixing with us for few races, he has decided to get a TC6.1 in his next race (sorry, T3). He already received a welcoming drink from me on that day.

Vut's car, coupled with BittyDesign new Striker-SR 190mm TC body & Zepping Racing clamp type battery holder chassis.
It was extremely fast on that day. No one could challenge his pace at all (TQ & P1 in all 3 finals)

Kong's car, coupled with RSD6 chassis & the ugliest body on race day.
He is really a talented racer. Seldom come to practice & yet always produce good result on race day.
On that day, he qualified at 10th & finished at P3 overall.
